June 2010 Lorena's Art available at La Posada de Santa Fe Historic SPA & Resort There is no doubt that Santa Fe, New Mexico, is one of those destinations that will let you experience a vast array of traditional and contemporary south western Folk Art. One of the most beautiful and history rich places to stay is the recently renovated La Posada de Santa Fe, SPA & Resort, currently managed by RockResorts. In the early 1930's La Posada became a popular place of congregation for the arts community. During summer an arts school was held there, numeours writers and well known personalities were frequent visitors. You may also hear some romantic and fascinating ghosts stories about Julia Staab (the Staab family were the original owners of La Posada mansion).
